Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson were inseparable after they met for the first time. Ashley was only 17 and hadn't had a boyfriend so the two took things really slow. It was obvious that they loved each other from the very first site. Andrew was praying to God during New Year's Day, just as 2016 was about to begin. Andrew asked God for one final favor that year: that Ashley say yes and get married. Ashley was keen to have a wooden folk themed wedding because it symbolized Andrew as well as her. They combined everything that was important to them. Ashley was born on 40 acres which were selected as their venue. Ashley took a tour of the area and had fun on everything, starting from the path they took to the field where the couple exchanged vows. Andrew and Ashley were walking through the same area when they were dating. The groom and bride did most of the DIY work and personalizing the wedding is crucial. Ashley painted and made many of the decorations, and Andrew Ashley's dad and Andrew created the ceremony seating and arch.
